Pregnancy Yoga
These classes provide a sanctuary from busy lives
giving time and space to focus on the mothers well being
and connect with the growing child within.
Throughout pregnancy the constant flux of hormones
can give the expectant mother a roller coaster ride of emotions.
Learn through breathing, sound and meditation practices
how to steer a steadier path through this sea of change.
The stretches are simple, graceful and flowing
bringing about a sense of poise and ease
in the mother’s changing body.
Designed to promote awareness of alignment,
promote good movement patterns,
that help to prevent injury to vulnerable parts of the body
and strength to support the growing weight and strain of the baby.
There is strong emphasis on relaxation
which can help to promote peaceful sleep.
Each class will have a mixture of women at different stages of their pregnancy.
This enables the class to share their wisdom
and experiences with one another,
providing friendly support for each other
through this special time.
All practices learnt during the class are helpful preparation for birth and becoming a mother.
No prior experience of yoga is required.
Classes are suitable from 14 weeks+ to birth.
Classes are paid for on a monthly basis at a cost of £7.00 per session.
